Here at ToucansMC we strive to create a safe and fun environment for players of all ages to enjoy. We work very hard to provide some old fashioned minecraft fun to both OG players who enjoy this old 2011-2013 type survival/economy gameplay, and newage players who may not have been able to experience a professional oldschool type Survival economy server. We are NOT a hermitcraft copy and we do not claim to be, if you're looking for vanilla this may not be the place for you. We provide a unique experienced powered by minimal backend plugins to not overcrowd your plate with unnecessary addons, these features can be found listed down below. We currently are running a 200+ playerbase with at least 8-10 people on at all times of the day fostering for friends in all timezones, and active, trained, helpful staff on to answer questions, and help with any issues! All of our members love the chill relaxed environment we've worked so hard to withhold, whether they're just getting away from the regular hussle and bussle of big minigame servers, or taking a few hours away from their busy busy lives to hang out and interact in the server, our server succeeds to provide a great place for many to do that and we hope we can do the same for you! Players of all ages can join we don't even ask in your application! The whitelist is in place to create another layer of protection to keep bad apples from joining at will and wreaking havoc, and to also ensure the players we get are ones that will appreciate the kind of experience we provide with our features.

What makes our feature selection unique, is it may look like a lot but, outside of maybe 1 or 2 of them, using them isn't required to get ahead or have fun on the server, if you wanted to log on and have an essentially vanilla experience thats still possible, and you may even fall in love with our features along the way!

Security
- CoreProtect: Allows staff to do things such as roll backs and log blocks in the event of a grief! We can find a block you sneezed on months ago!
- BlockProt & LandClaim plugins: Use /lc for a menu to use our landclaim plugin, players receive unlimited landclaim blocks at no cost to them whatsoever. BlockProt comes in handy to lock chests&blocks in areas you don't necessarilly need to claim.


QoL
- Timber: Less need to worry about leaving floating trees, your axe should do the work for you!
- KeepInventory=true
- RandomTP: Find yourself a nice private spot fast!
- MultiplayerSleep: When you sleep, everyone sleeps! Skip through nights easily!
- Hivechecker: Makes beekeeping a little more interactive!
- Invisible Itemframes: This one goes out to all my detailed builders out there, the ability to toggle item frame visibility!
- Crafting Tweaks: Some of our crafting recipes yield more blocks just like they used to in the gold ol days! We also feature custom recipes for nametags, and shroom lights!
- Chest Sorter: I got 99 problems but a messy chest ain't one! This plugin allows for a plethora of commands and controls to make organizing your chests and inventory so much easier!
- XP Storing: Right click an enchanting table with a bottle and turn it into an Bottle o' XP with your XP in it!
- Dragon Drops: The dragon drops an elytra along with the egg and head when you kill it! gg!
- Double Shulker Shells
- PlayerWarps: Use /pw for the menu, Share farms, shops, grinders, and builds you want the community to be a part of!
- Silk Spawners: Found a spawner? Take it with you to use for later with a Silk Touch pickaxe!
- Biome Compass: A craftable compass that'll point you in the direction of any biome you need!

- Crop Replant: Ditch the old school way of farming and bring your hoe with you, right click on the crop and it will farm/replant it for you automatically!
- Hidden Armor: Toggle the visibility of your armor easily so you can be protected but still show off your beauty!



Economy
- Sign Shop & Auction House: The fate of the economy is in your hands! Will you be a farming kingpin or jewel smuggler, or even a real estate tycoon?
- Jobs: Get your foot in the economy easily by making money doing regular vanilla tasks! We feature Miner, Farmer, Lumberjack, Brewer, Digger, Hunter, Builder & a Custom Chef job!


Fun
- Slimefun w/ exotic garden, fluffy machines, safarinet & Souljars addons: Basically a modpack in vanilla! Never run out of stuff to do and unlock in the /sf guide!
- mcMMO: This plugin uses regular game mechanics to make skills! Once you up these skills your experience for doing certains tasks will go up and you will have an easier time doing them
- Mob heads: Mobs have a nice little chance of dropping a head, come collect them all!
- Head Database: Grab any head on the fly from a nice, categorized GUI to make your builds stand out from the rest!
-Simple VC: Through the Mod, allows you to talk to users in game with a mic!
- Double XP Days/Weekends: when we reach community goals!
- Player Emotes: Sit, Crawl, Lay, or even ride your friends!

1. Absolutely NO Griefing or theft, this includes inside and outside of claims, if it isn't yours don't touch it!
2. Please refrain from Disrespect, Hate Speech and spam of any type.
3. Use of Hacked Clients, and or Cheat Mods will not be tolerated.
4. Please ensure you don't leave any floating trees or other eye soars, plugins like timber and mob griefing being disabled can help battle against this but timber cant handle some funky trees sometimes.
5. Any farms designed to create a lot of loot may have no bigger than 1 double chest of storage.
6. All parties must consent to a PvP match.
7. Please keep at least a 100 block spacing between you and another player's claimed areas unless you are collaborating in some way.

Currently the server is running on RYZEN9 5600X @ 4.9 GHz and 4 Dedicated threads to our server! and 20GB of RAM Allowing for a buttery smooth non-stop gameplay at even the heaviest loads!


Server run in Vint Hill, Virginia Datacenter.
