Upon spawning in, you'll notice you've arrived on a small, floating island with a massive, familiar-looking statue. The WelcomeBot NPC there will supply you with armor, a sword and some tools. It also has an exploitable glitch that randomly transports the player away from world spawn while temporarily shielding them from damage.
Spawn Protection
Players may notice when spawning in that they are in Adventure Mode without the ability to place or break blocks. Players will need to either move 500 blocks away from World Spawn, or exploit the glitch in the WelcomeBot to be randomly teleported away. Once players are more than 500 blocks away from World Spawn, they will be placed into Survival Mode automatically.
Custom Features
Players should also notice a Waypoints Menu item in their possession. Use this to create waypoints to teleport back and forth from. However, the use of the teleportation system requires a slight fee in experience. Fear not, though! With the More Ways to Get XP addon, players will now receive additional experience orbs, or stars thanks to the Star XP Orbs addon with every single hit against almost any hostile mob! Players may also notice strange new bushes generated throughout the world thanks to the XP Expansion addon. Simply use a pair a shears on them to harvest some experience!
