What is TownyCube?

TownyCube is a fun earth/geopol server for Minecraft 1.20! We have lots of interesting history, fun unique features and plugins, and more!


I'm interested, but how do I join?

The server will be only java compatible at the start, but bedrock support will be added in the future. This has been put into place to prevent lag during the main release.
You can join the server using one of these IP's: townycube.net mc.townycube.net play.townycube.net
(if you are having issues connecting using the IP's above you can also join using our secondary IP, townycube.minecraft.mp)

Where is the server hosted? Will I lag out?

Our server is hosted in Montreal, Canada. It runs on 12gb of RAM and a Ryzen 9 5900x processor, you could say we have a pretty beefy server. We chose Montreal as our server location because it's kinda at the center of everything. Everybody in The Americas will get a great ping, people from western, central, and potentially northern Europe will get a decent ping because they are just a short ocean away. People from Asia, Africa, or Australia might experience moderate lag but this is just due to our server location. 99% of our playerbase should be lag-free!

Server F.A.Q.

Play TownyCube with Minecraft Java:

  • Copy the Java server IP from this page.
  • Open up Minecraft and wait for it to fully load.
  • Click on "Multiplayer", then "Add Server".
  • Paste the Server's IP in the "IP Address" field.
  • Click "Done".
  • Select TownyCube from the list and click on "Join Server".

Play TownyCube with Minecraft Bedrock / PE:

  • Copy the Bedrock server IP from this page.
  • Open up Minecraft Pocket Edition and press the "Play" button.
  • Go to the "Servers" tab and press the "Add Server" button.
  • Paste the Server's IP in the "Server Address" field, and 28107 in the "Port" field.
  • Click "Play" to quickly join the server.

You can join the TownyCube Discord server and direct your questions there. There should be instructions on how to get support - If not, contact a staff member.

Right now, there is noone playing on TownyCube. Up to 20 can join.
