Apathesia Minecraft Server

Server Information

Hello,
I'm AirborneMuffins and I have become very frustrated with the Minecraft multiplayer scene lately. Let me tell you why:
It seems that every time I go looking for a server to play on, I'm bombarded with gambling, p2w, and servers that try to hide their for-profit intentions behind things like paid ranks and such under the guise of "donations."
When I post a wanted ad looking for a server, the thread is almost instantly overrun by bots, scams, and server owners offering something completely different than what I'm looking for.

I've had enough of it.

Using facilities that I own, I've decided to start hosting a server that scratches the itch that so many nowadays fail to. I am an experienced server manager and will dedicate to providing an enjoyable experience.

Apathesia is a Java SMP Fabric server running on the most recent stable version possible while still including plenty of mods for people like myself who have been playing MC for a long time (probably too long!) and require a bit more variety in order to stay engaged with the game.

Our features are the following:

-NO SERVER STORE OF ANY KIND. While we're happy to accept donations that will always go directly towards funding the server, there will never be an in-game benefit from spending $$
-NO RANKS. Ranks are a way that server owners cash-in on FOMO/Player Hierarchy and I personally find it despicable.
-Improved world generation using Terratonic, Incendium, Towns and Towers, and Stellarity
-Lightly moderated text chat (generally only banning for hate speech and spam)
-QoL mods such as Essentials (SetHome, TPA, RTP, etc), Veinminer, TreeFeller, Voice Chat, Clumps
-No grief prevention. We have a very far RTP radius (20k) and no world border, so build smart (Build S-Mart)
-Fire Spread, Insomnia, and Mob griefing have been turned off.
-Periodic End resets in order to give everyone an opportunity to loot and kill the Ender Dragon
-PVP is allowed outside of spawn (but only losers KOS)
-Mineable Spawners for use in your base

Rules:
-NO HATE SPEECH OR SPAM IN THE CHAT. Apathesia is a safe place for people of all walks of life and any sort of discrimination will NOT be tolerated. It's pretty much the one thing you can engage in that will be met with zero tolerance and no second chances.
-NO CHEATING
-NO ADVERTISING
-ONLY ENGLISH IN THE CHAT

Things I'm looking into possibly being added in the future:

-Cosmetics (once again, completely free, not purchased)
-Accessories
-Bedrock compatibility
-Discord integration
-Economy
-Chest protection

I will entertain requests for new mods/plugins to be added if I feel they fit the vibe I'm trying to cultivate. Very open to suggestions.
For the next few days I'll be stress-testing the server before finalizing the hardware/server settings. Eventually I will probably switch over to a whitelist system, but for now Apathesia stays open for everyone.
