DemocracySMP,
the Minecraft Survival server run entirely by its players, officially launched on May 9 built to function like a real country, it lets you decide how power works, who wields it, and what they can (and can’t) do.

What Is DemocracySMP?

A vanilla 1.21.5 Paper survival server with a few light quality-of-life datapacks — but the real innovation is governance:
-No central rulebook – you write the laws
-No staff with special power – leadership is earned through elections
-No pay-to-win – fairness is baked in
-No admin interference (except against hate speech or cheats) – everything else is player-run

Here you will:

-Draft and ratify a binding constitution
-Elect leaders, governments, or parliaments you design
-Enforce rules through systems you create
-Debate, campaign, and vote to steer the world over time

-Welcoming new citizens every day
-Registering candidates for the very first election (campaigning has just begun!)
