Server Information

XP SMP is a Minecraft Survival multiplayer server with minimal rules and a focus on unrestricted gameplay. Players can explore a persistent world, gather resources, build structures, and interact with others without imposed limitations. The server uses experience points as a central mechanic for progression and player-to-player trade, creating a simple, consistent system of value without relying on structured marketplaces.

There are no restrictions on PvP, raiding, or griefing, and players are free to approach the game in any way they choose. The use of third-party clients, including Meteor Client, is permitted. This results in a competitive and unpredictable environment where outcomes are determined entirely by player actions rather than server intervention.

Chests distributed throughout the world may contain high-value or rare loot, offering incentives for exploration and risk-taking. A wide variety of map art is present across the server, contributing to a visually distinct and player-influenced landscape. Custom biome generation is also part of the experience, introducing varied terrain and environmental conditions beyond standard world generation.

The environment is intentionally open-ended, with no resets or enforced progression paths. Over time, the world reflects the cumulative impact of its players.
