Server Information

**JUST LAUNCHED Survival SEASON 2! NEW SPAWN! UPDATED TO 1.21.11!** ASTRO SMP is centered around community and building up life long friends. The other aspects of the server are just added on to enhance gameplay with your friends. Be sure to /refer your friends for rewards. The server is protected with land claim (grief prevention), and you gain more as you play. We try to keep it as close to normal vanilla survival as possible. There are FREE in game ranks that you work towards by voting and unlock more set homes, land claim, and chest shops. Keep inventory is enabled everywhere besides Warzone. The main building world is PvP free, SAFE AREA, unless a claim is set to be PvP enabled. The other worlds have PvP enabled.

The world border starts off very small and everyone in the server works together to expand the world border. Players pool in money and once the goal is reached the world border expands a certain amount. Players will repeat the process until the max world border is reached. The max world border is set to reach 35k x 35k. Everything is pre-generated, so it is lag free.

Crates were revamped and lots of new cool things were added / changed. We have also added in a lot of custom items. Some crates lets you select the item reward, while some are chance based. Newly added crate is the quest crate. Receive pretty cool reward unlocks through milestones. The more quest keys you use the better the rewards get in the crate. Complete all quests for a unique tag.

In ASTRO SMP, the economy is community based. Players build chest shops or sell in auction house for money. There are also jobs which you can make money but also get points. You can use points to buy spawners, tags, ranks, etc. There are also custom enchants for the PvP areas. Use blaze rods to recharge your custom enchants. ASTRO SMP has quick shop for selling to other players. Use player warps to get to players shops. You can also sell all farm and mob items to /shop and buy certain blocks and items you may need.

Newly added custom fishing, farming, mining, and voting system! Find new types of fish and bait. There are also daily fishing and farming tournaments at certain times of the day for rewards. We also just changed the vote system. Vote for vote points which you can redeem in the vote shop. You can get claim blocks, money, keys, and bunch of other cool stuff. There are also lucky votes which has a chance to give you rare keys.

Newly added resource worlds and events! The resource world resets every month and is limited with a 10k x 10k world border. The nether resource world is the same. The end resource world resets everyday. Resource worlds have PvP Enabled. Keep inventory is enabled. We also added in /events and with these there will be daily, weekly, monthly events and now even payouts. If you are in the top 3, you will get a few good rewards (Keys, Job Points, Money, Diamonds). The weekly and daily events will be changed once a week, so that you have fresh events to compete in.
