Build a kingdom in Nyra, a world set in the late Middle Ages. Win wars, bank your fortune and fight for the season title. Lots to lose, lots to gain.
How to join: play.irontoempire.com on Java Edition 26.3. No mods or modpack needed, just accept the resource pack.
Kingdoms and war (our custom Feudal plugin)
• Found a kingdom, plant your banner and claim land. Outside of war, your claims can't be griefed.
• Wars are fought online. They're declared, accepted and start 24 hours later, and if too few defenders show up, they're branded cowards and lose automatically.
• Set a tribute when you declare (the defenders can pay it to surrender), or declare Total War, where surrender isn't an option.
• Once a war starts, both kingdoms' land is open to anyone. Bring TNT: even obsidian walls crack under enough blasts.
• Bring siege engines to the fight: Ballistas, Catapults, Trebuchets and Battering Rams, plus the Siege Crossbow.
• Ranks (Member, Knight, Noble, King), member taxes, land upkeep, alliances and kingdom chat.
• Win the season two ways: War Points for victories, and Economy Points for Crowns you craft and deposit at the Empire Banks (if you survive the trip). Military and economic conquest both work, and the winners are immortalized in the Hall of Champions.
Combat overhaul
• Guard with your weapon or shield until your guard meter breaks. Hold Shift to wind up a Heavy, then strike on the red sweet spot for a Special.
• Every weapon class fights differently: swords weaken, axes smash guards and cut healing, maces pierce armor and stun, and pikes hit from 6 blocks away, lunge and cause bleeding.
• Full-loot PvP. Your items wait in a grave that anyone can loot after 3 seconds, and combat logging kills you.
Monsters and loot
• Custom monsters from five factions roam the land and guard temples, crypts, catacombs, bandit camps and ghost ships.
• Legendary boss which you summon at the ShadowBlack Temples with a Key of Nyra.
• Loot rolls Uncommon, Rare or Epic with random affixes, and sometimes a drawback. Hunt 200+ pieces of custom gear, plus Legendary and Artifact items. The whole server hears when one drops.
Explore
• 95 new biomes from Terralith on Tectonic terrain, 150 new structures from Dungeons and Taverns to Shadow Temples.
• Warded ruins seal their chests, and you'll need a Key of Nyra to pry them open.
• Horses run more than twice as fast with a rider and trample anything in their path at a gallop.
Economy and side games
• Admin Market, Auction House, player shops and NPCs with daily trades (a diamond sword for a torch, anyone?).
• Spend Crowns on Relic Jars (guess a hidden word using pottery sherds), the Memory Buffet and the Wishing Well.
