Server Information

OreWars is a PvP Survival server built around one idea: the good ore is far from home, and getting it back is the hard part.

You start in the middle of the map, in a ring where nobody can pick a fight with you. You can build there, claim your land and keep it safe for as long as you like, but the ground only gives you coal and copper. Walk further out and you'll find iron and gold, in a ring where carrying them makes you fair game for anyone who sees you. Keep going and you reach the lawless edge, where the diamonds are and no rule protects you at all.

There are no teleports and no ender chests, so whatever you dig up you have to carry home on foot. That walk back is the game. Some people mine, some people wait for the miners, and most end up doing both.

Out in the dangerous rings there are old ruins you can capture and hold for a steady income, as long as you can defend them. And every so often a world boss rises somewhere on the map. Nobody knows when the next one comes, and killing one can leave behind a weapon you can't get any other way.

Your base can't be raided while you keep it supplied, so you won't log in to find a week of work gone. Nothing in a shop will ever win you a fight. It's Java Edition 26.3, with nothing to install.
