Retro Factions is a classic Minecraft Factions server built to bring back the old-school experience of the 2014–2017 Factions era. I wanted to create the type of server that many of us remember playing years ago: simple, competitive, community-driven, and focused on building your faction, growing your base, and fighting for control.

Start with nothing and build your faction into a force to be reckoned with. Gather resources, establish your base, recruit members, create alliances, and protect what you've built.

But remember—your base isn't safe forever.

Prepare for enemy raids, defend your territory, and look for opportunities to strike back. Whether you prefer building an enormous base, dominating PvP, running the economy, or leading your faction into war, there's a place for you on Retro Factions.

A Classic Economy

The economy is designed around the old-school Factions experience, including physical shops, resource gathering, farming, mob drops, spawners, and player-driven progression.

Work your way up from basic resources to valuable gear, powerful bases, and expensive spawners. Your wealth comes from actually playing the game—not simply buying your way to the top.

Events & Competition

Take a break from building and raiding to compete in KOTHs and PvP events for valuable rewards. Fight other factions, control important locations, and prove who deserves to be on top.

Built for the Old-School Community

Retro Factions was created because I couldn't find the exact type of old-school Factions server I was looking for. Instead of compromising, I decided to build it myself.

My goal is to create a community where players can enjoy the classic Factions gameplay while still having a few quality-of-life improvements that make the server enjoyable today.
