Thumpstone SMP is a long-term 18+ Minecraft civilisation server where players build settlements, form nations, develop economies, forge alliances and compete for influence over the course of a full year.
Season 2: Age of Nations is underway.
Start your own settlement, join an established community, build a trading empire, explore the wilderness or work with other players to create one of the most powerful Nations on the server.
You don't have to join a Nation or participate in PvP. Independent builders, explorers, traders and smaller communities are just as welcome.
🏰 Build Settlements & Nations
Claim territory and establish your own settlement using Lands.
Recruit other players, expand your territory and develop your settlement. Established communities can join together to create Nations* opening up diplomacy, alliances, rivalries and organised wars.
How you participate is up to you. Lead a Nation, become part of one, or remain completely independent.
💰 Player-Driven Economy
Thumpstone has an economy designed around players trading with players, rather than an unlimited admin shop.
Earn money through Jobs, establish businesses, create chest shops, rent land and set up public warps.
Resources, locations and services have value because other players actually want them.
🌍 Explore a Changing World
The Overworld features 100+ biomes with dramatically expanded terrain, including enormous mountain ranges, volcanic landscapes, underground rivers and wilderness built for exploration.
The Nether and End are transformed too, giving all three dimensions their own character.
But the entire world isn't available from day one.
Players collectively contribute towards expanding the world border, periodically opening completely new territory, resources and places to settle.
⏳ Long-Term Progression
Thumpstone is designed to last.
Each season runs for roughly one year, giving settlements and Nations time to develop histories, economies, rivalries and communities instead of everything being completed during the first few weeks.
Major milestones are deliberately paced too. Access to areas such as the End is tied to community progression rather than being rushed immediately after a reset.

At its heart, Thumpstone is still survival Minecraft.
Our additions are intended to give you more reasons to build, explore, trade and interact with other players without turning Minecraft into a completely different game.

⚔️ Competition Without Pay-to-Win
Thumpstone is free to play.
Supporter ranks and cosmetics help pay for the server, but competitive progression isn't something you can simply buy. Your settlement, wealth and influence have to be built in-game.
PvP, political rivalry and competition are allowed, while cheating, exploits, harassment and discrimination are not.
🏛️ Leave a Legacy
Season 2 runs from August 2026 to August 2027.
Over that year, settlements will grow, Nations will rise and fall, borders will expand and players will create the history of the world.
Exceptional creations can even be nominated as Legacy Builds, giving parts of what the community creates the opportunity to survive into future seasons.
