1.9 Minecraft Servers
1.9 was quite a significant update that really contributed to shaping Minecraft into what it is today!It featured a new, quite controversial at first, combat setup completely re-engineered from the ground up! Shields, dual wielding and elytra were some of the new features it offered. Servers took a while to catch up and implement software to support those new features, but once they did, it really changed up all PvP and PvE aspects of the game!
