In 2026, the meta is split between OG Factions (classic raiding and 1.8 PvP) and Modern Factions (including custom gear and advanced TNT mechanics). How do I join a Faction server?
- Install the latest version of Minecraft Java Edition. You can download it directly from Mojang.
- Find out what version your client is. By default this will be the latest one available. It's described by a number like "1.16", "1.14", etc.
